Yes and no. Most life insurances are not placed in trust – if yours isn’t then you need a Funeral Plan.

A Funeral Plan is you paying for and arranging your funeral now. An over 50’s plan is a life insurance policy.

Yes. However, bear in mind that the person who is arranging your funeral will be grieving and as such this can add emotional and financial burden at what is already a difficult time.
